"I also came upon (2) male students helping a teacher who had been shot. Wh had the students evacuate and I stood by with the teacher. The teacher identified himself as (U)Sanders. I obseverved (2) gunshot wounds (entry) and (1) exit wound..... There was also a large quantity of blood on the floor around (U)Sanders. I applied pressure bandages to (U)Sanders wounds and advised dispatch to send medics to my location....... Dep. Whitus and myself moved (U)Sanders from the classroom I found him in to the first room we first made entry into(Room UA-24). At about this time, a paramedic La(y)man arrived at our location. La(y)man told Dep. Whitus and myself that (V)Sanders was dead."

"Our primary objective was to collect any evidence around the body of Dave Sanders, who was in a Science store room located west of the science hallway, at the top of the stairs leading to the cafeteria.
At approximately 1700hours(on 4-21) we removed Sanders' body from the store room. .... There was just a small amount of blood under the body[this strongly implies he died elsewhere, but that's my opinion]. A wound was visible from the front of the body on the right shoulder. It was visible through the partially open mouth of Sanders that he had damage in his mouth. A tooth was found on the floor in the hallway, north of the storeroom door...... His body was then carried(from Science room 3, where he had been assisted by students) to the Science store room through the west section of Science Room #3, #2, and #1 to the store room. ...... We determined this based on the blood trail, and the direction that the blood appeared to go."(way to apply them compresses, JCSO!!)
Also, I don't know where, but I ran across a reference that said Sanders was found without his shirt on by the paramedic . Does anyone remember that one?
[Comment: It still has not been explained why the police delayed so long to rescue Sanders. At the very least, he should have been the first one evacuated when SWAT reached him. I don't know if the cops just let him die or hurried him along that path by jostling him along the hall and stripping him of his shirt, inducing an immediate shock state. All I know is that the students had managed to keep him alive and conscious for almost three long hours, yet within a fairly short time in the care of the police, he was dead.]
