I've read his 140-page 'autobiography' of sorts. It's been posted here:
His father was the assistant director on the Hunger Games, which of course was based on a trilogy of books authored by Suzanne Collins, who lives in Sandy Hook and is the daughter of an Air Force officer who served in Vietnam. His father married Souyama Akaaboune, an actress who appeared in "Green Zone" with Matt Damon and is now involved in reality television. She came from a very prominent family from Morocco.
His mother was a nurse working on film sets whose close friends included Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. According to the Daily Mail, a photograph exists showing Lucas with his arm around her. Harrison Ford and Michael Jackson are in the picture.
At every stage of his life, Elliot Rodger has been connected with wealthy, influential families and powerful figures in the entertainment industry. Specifically, the wealthy Lemelson family appears to have been operating in the background of much of his life. Rob Lemelson took him to parties, got him into karate class, inexplicably provided homes to his best friend, and lined up a high-paying job for his mother. Rob Lemelson is the founder and head of the"Society for Psychocultural Research" at UCLA. MK-ULTRA, anyone? Rob's father, Jerome, is a prominent inventor who served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and did work for the Office of Naval Research before becoming involved in missile research at Republic Aviation, a defense contractor.
The president of the University of California, of course, is Janet Napolitano, who was formerly the head of the Department of Homeland Security.
