All in all, that's over ten years of analysis of the mass shooting phenomenon with a particular focus on the well-documented Columbine attack, from which we have been able to learn quite a bit. Although various academic studies on this type of shooting exist and do have some merit, they have mostly been conducted from the widely unquestioned but possibly or even probably flawed viewpoint that their subject events are of a spontaneous or organic origin, an assumption which may limit their value considerably. This thread is dedicated to the piecewise enumeration of the common elements found among these attacks which seem to suggest that the purely psychosocially oriented (i. e. face value, shooter-oriented) explanations are inadequate and that an alternative paradigm is necessary, a la Webster Tarpley's eminently useful "9/11 false flag" framework of "moles, patsies, [...] professional killers, and the command center which coordinates all of that within the framework of a brainwashed world of controlled corporate media." School shooters, workplace shooters, family-ciders, politically-motivated mass shooters(like the Mumbai terrorist attack(11-26-08)), seem to be the main catagories. How many are manipulated, and how many are non-manipulated events? I have only really studied the school shootings in any depth, so the following characteristics may only fit that one category of a manipulated event. First characteristic that I always look for is the 'uniform' of all black/camoflage/trenchcoat look: Early 1990s The violent, satanic black trenchcoat culture makes its first confirmed appearance in the nation of Norway, of all places. Obscure young musicians pioneer the genres of "black" and "death" metal. giving concerts while painted with 'corpse' makeup. Taking their extreme philosophies seriously, which included role-playing of vampires in the case of the most notorious of the group, they commence a campaign of church arson attacks, later degenerating into several murders. 5-26-94 Clay Shrout, 17, murdered his parents and two sisters, He wore all black every day with combat boots and black trenchcoat. 2-2-96 Barry Loukaitis, 14. Frontier Jr. High School, Moses Lake, Washington. Dressed in all black, trenchcoat, 3 dead, 1 wounded. 11-25-96 Black trenchcoat wearing Rod Ferrell, 18, and others are arrested for beating to death a Florida couple. 12-1-97 Michael Carneal, 14, Heath High School in Paducah, Kentucky 3 killed, 5 wounded. He was dressed in all black with combat boots(though he was part of a clique of trenchcoaters). 2-20-98 "Kentucky Occult Teen Killers" six black trenchcoat- wearing young people plead guilty to killing a couple and their daughter. 5-22-98 Kip Kinkel, Springfield, OR, Thurston High School, 1 dead, 7 seriously wounded A tan trenchcoat was worn over his all black clothing during his rampage. 4-20-99 Killings at Columbine High School planned and executed by the black trenchcoat-wearing 'Trenchcoat Mafia' 11-3-99 Kevin Cruz, 32, Northlake Shipyard, Seattle, Washington Wearing a dark trench coat over camouflage clothing, the gunman had walked into the shipyard building and shot four people, two of them fatally. 2-05-01 3 teens arrested for planned attack on their high school in Hoyt, Kansas. Each possessed a black trenchcoat. October, 2001 Five teens from New Bedford, Massachusetts are arrested for planning an attack on New Bedford High School. They wore long black trenchcoats. 12-8-01 Four young people are arrested in Loudown County, Virginia for the stabbing/slashing death of one of their fathers. "The suspects favored all-black outfits, long black (trench)coats." 4-26-02 Robert Steinhauser, 19, Gutenburg Gymansium, Erfurt, Germany 18 dead Wore all black in his rampage. 10-26-02 Daniel Hawke Fears, 18, Sallisaw, Okla. 2 dead, 7 wounded He went on a 20-mile shooting spree, apparently targeting people at random. "He... always wore a black trench coat." 2-17-03 Oakton, Virginia 19-year-old Josh Cooke mowed down his parents in the basement of their home with a shotgun. Cooke wore a black trench coat .... 6-29-03 Joseph Hunter Parker, 30, killed two people with a samurai sword at an Albertson's supermarket in Irvine, California(Orange County). Wore a black trenchcoat in the attack. 10-9-06 Memorial Middle School, Joplin, MO Thomas White, 13, fired a round from an assualt rifle after walking into his school wearing a long, dark green trenchcoat. 11-20-06 ex-student Sebastain Bosse, 18, Geschwister Scholl School, Emdetten, Germany 1 dead, 5 wounded Wore a black trenchcoat in the attack. 1-19-07 John "Jack" Odgren, 16, Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, Framingham/Sudbury, Massachusetts Stabbed a 15year old boy to death in the school bathroom. "Two juniors yesterday said the student now accused of the killing often wore a trench coat to school." 2-12-07 Sulejman Talovic, 18 SLC, Utah, Trolley Square massacre shooter. Used a shotgun to kill six and wound four more. Wore a dark trenchcoat during the attack. 10-10-07 Asa Coon, 14, Success Tech HS, Cleveland, OH 1 dead, 4 wounded A goth, he often wore trenchcoat to school. 12-4-07 Robert Hawkins, 19, Omaha mall shooting, 9 dead, 5 wounded No trenchcoat, but police say he wore all black in the shooting. 12-9-07 Matthew Murray, 18, kills 4, injures many others in two locations. Was wearing a black trenchcoat at the New Life Church attack in Colorado Springs, according to some media accounts. 2-14-08 Stephen Kazmierczak, 27 Northern Illinois University, Dekalb, Ill., 6 dead Some accounts had him wearing a black trenchcoat. 9-23-08 Matti Juhani Saari, 22, Kauhojoki Vocational School, Kauhajoki, Finland 11 dead, 1 wounded Saari was dressed all in black and was wearing a ski mask. 1-23-09 Fabeltjesland nursery/day care stabbings, Belgium, Kim de Gelder, 20 De Gelder was known for wearing a long dark coat. 1-24-09 The 'Signal Slasher,' Steven Walter Robinson Jr., 24, who attacked two movie goers with a knife in Fullerton, CA. He was one of the trench coat kids when he was in high school, according to a teacher. 4-10-09 OAED Vocational College, Athens, Greece, Dimitris Patmanidis, 19 1 dead, 3 wounded Fellow students and college staff described the gunman as a loner who favored black clothing and long overcoats. 9-17-09 Georg R., 18, a student at Carolinum-Gymnasium in Ansbach in Bavaria, Germany, attacked his school with an ax, knives, and molotov cocktails. Georg R. wore a black trenchcoat everyday to school and on the day of the attack. 10-20-09 15yr old arrested for planning attack on Monroe Woodbury High School, Monroe, NY. He was planning an attack on April 20. He had purchased a black trench coat to resemble that worn in the Columbine High School attack. 1-4-10 Johnny Lee Wicks, 66, wearing all black and a black trenchcoat, assualts federal courthouse in Las Vegas with a shotgun, killing one and wounding another. 10-8-10 Kelly Elementary School, San Diego County, Brendan O’Rourke, 41 The man was dressed in black: black ball cap, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants. 1-8-11 Tucson/Giffords shooting, AZ Jared Loughner, 22, 6 dead, 10 wounded Loughner sometimes wore a trench coat and is also thought to have worn all black to the shooting. 9-13-11 James Ray Palmer, 48, Crawford County Courthouse in Van Buren, Ark. He had on a two-tone gray/black trenchcoat. 3-8-12 John F. Shick, 30, wore a tan type of trench coat at the Western Psych Hospital shooting, Pittsburgh, PA 7-20-12 James Holmes, 24, Aurora Batman shooter. "The gunman, wearing what Aurora Police Department officials described as nearly head-to-toe “ballistic gear,” including .... a long black coat... ." 12-11-12 Jacob Tyler Roberts, 22, Clackamas Town Center Mall, Oregon The shooter was not wearing a trenchcoat, but another suspect was: "(witness) told me that she saw a guy outside, walking into the mall wearing a white plastic face mask and a black trench coat." 12-14-12 Sandy Hook Elementry School shooter Adam Lanza, 20, wore all black during the attack. “He was known around the (high) school as the kid who wore a trench coat.” / Last Edited By: starviego May 11 13 10:51 AM. There are so many of these examples to list them all would merely be a recitation of all the suspicious events. Of course, many shooters whose acts are not normally considered suspicious, like many workplace shooters or family-ciders, have also been taking these drugs. It might be more helpful to concentrate on a related subject--how many shooters have been psychologically 'treated' at some point by a shrink or counselor. The examples: 4-15-99 LDS Church Family History Library, Salt Lake City, UT, Sergei Babarin, 70 "Salt Lake City Mayor Deedee Corradini said Babarin was schizophrenic and had not been taking his medication" 4-20-99 Columbine, CO Eric Harris had been seeing a psychologist, Dr. Albert. 12-26-00 Wakefield massacre, MA Michael "Mucko" McDermott, 42 "The defense lawyer said his client had been seeing psychiatrists" 2-9-04 Columbia High School, Rensselaer County, NY Jon Romano, 16 In the months before the shooting Romano was getting treatment at Four Winds Psychiatric Facility. 3-21-05 Red Lake HS, Red Lake, MN, Jeff Weise, 17 Weise was taken to a psychiatric ward in Thief River Falls after a suicide scare. 9-13-06 Dawson College, Montreal, Kimveer Gill, 25, "....(his mother) said he had been depressed, and had even sought help for it a while back." 1-19-07 Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, Princeton Mass, John Odgren, 16 His lawyer said “He’s on a number of medications and he’s under the care of many physicians...” 2-12-07 SLC Trolley Square massacre, UT Sulejman Talovic, 18 His girlfriend said he had seen a counselor at some point for his problems. 12-15-07 Trevor Lapierre, 22, Kitchener, Ontario Lapierre had been hospitalized four times in the year and half before the murder for his mental afflictions. 2-14-08 Northern Illinois University, Steven Kazmierczak, 27 Kazmierczak had been seeing a psychiatrist on a monthly basis. 9-23-08 Kauhajoki School of Hospitality(Finland), Matti Juhani Saari, 22 "...Saari sought treatment of some kind last summer, and was given tranquilizers." 1-23-09 Fabeltjesland nursery/day care stabbings, Belgium, Kim de Gelder, 20 He had been receiving in-patient treatment at a local clinic. 1-24-09 Portland, OR Niteclub Shooting, Eric Salvador Ayala "An interview by police with Ayala's mother at the hospital before he died revealed that he had been hospitalized and on medication when he was younger for depression or other mental health problems..." 4-10-09 OAED Vocational College, Athens, Greece, Dimitris Patmanidis, 19 "...the 19-year-old had once tried to strangle a fellow student and had subsequently been placed under the surveillance of a college psychologist." 11-26-09 Pecs University, Hungary "The university's dean... said there would be a thorough investigation of the suspect's background, including his relationship with psychiatrists..." 6-2-10 Cumbria Rampage, England Some sources said that before the shootings started the taxi-driver turned up at a local hospital and requested to be seen or taken in, stating that he was 'mentally ill.' 8-17-10 McKinney(TX)/Collin College Patrick Gray Sharp, 29 Sharp's father said that Patrick had a long history of mental illness and psychological evaluations, dating back to when he was just 9-years-old. 10-8-10 Kelly Elementary, San Diego, Brendan O’Rourke He had spent at least one night in a mental ward after displaying bizarre symptoms 1-8-11 Tucson/Giffords, AZ Jared Loughner "Pietz, the court-appointed psychologist, testified that Loughner appeared to be a normal child and average student until he was ...diagnosed with depression.. ." 4-09-11 Ridderhof Mall, Netherlands Tristan van der Vlis, 25 Following threats of suicide, he was hospitalized for 10 days in a psych facility. 3-8-12 Western Psych Hospital, PA John F. Shick, 30 "KDKA’s Marty Griffin reports that Shick had mental illness, an extensive mental history and that he went to Western Psych to kill his doctor." 3-20-12 Waller High School, TX Trey Eric Sesler, 22 "Family members said he was under some kind of medical treatment..." 7-20-12 Aurora Batman shooting, CA James Holmes, 24 "James Holmes.... was being treated by a psychiatrist--Dr. Lynne Fenton--at the university where he was enrolled ..." 9-7-12 Normal Community High School, IL Unsub "The 14 year old student is described... as someone who was "messed up" and had a lot of emotional and educational problems. The boy was receiving some help." 12-14-12 Sandy Hook Elementary School, CT Adam Lanza, 20 "Newtown school officials assigned a permanent psychologist to Mr. Lanza in his freshman year of high school." 4-22-13 Belgorod, Russia, Sergey Pomazun, 31 "...the shooting suspect had undergone treatment at a psychiatric clinic." One may well say that it is not unusual for a nutcase shooter to have had contact with the mental health system. Registered User Posts: 307 Dec 4 10 12:31 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	A hallmark of intelligence operations is the use of a scapegoat or patsy, who, although he usually has had some prep for the job, typically is less than 100% witting of his intended destiny as "fall guy." And sometimes, these wind-up toys (the "Columbine Clients") apparently cannot be trusted to wreak their havoc on their own, or are simply not up to the skill level required of them, meaning that professional assassins are sometimes really the ones who do at least some of the actual shooting. This can be done partly to ensure that the violence actually is as horrific as the plot calls for, to give increased cover to those calling the shots and or to help spin the political fallout onto a certain group which is to be demonized, among other possibilities. But although it is their job to be as stealthy as possible, sometimes the killers are seen, which means that witnesses, whose reports usually come out in the first day or two, before the censorship begins and the first edition of the official lie is published, make some recorded mention of them. In Columbine, we saw almost two tiers of this: the trench coaters who received official blame (Harris and Klebold), the trench coaters who were witnessed shooting but did not receive official blame (Morris, Perry, etc., no relationship to Harris and Klebold, of course! Really! Seriously!) and then some questions about the unnamed adult in the science halls, the strange case of Larry Scott Petty and other MIBs on-premises. Fort Hood is another instance where shooting was reportedly taking place at more than one location on the base, which would, of course, indicate more than one shooter. Also, there were early reports -- these were later "corrected" -- that several gunmen had been taken into custody that day. Therefore, the police response needs to be muddy from the outset and help with the cover-up afterward. Although most of your grunt-level officers aren't going to be consciously in on the plot, they know where the interests of the Farce lay and are usually all too willing to enforce the Blue Code of Silence. Also, the host institution, the scene of the crime, may need to be complicit (a nearly impenetrable angle in Columbine). They never gave a good explanation; though they did initially suggest that they were outgunned, that the way was "blocked" by explosives, that they didn't know who the shooters were, and that if they went in too quickly they would end up shooting each other, blah, blah, blah. They finally settled on the absurd hypothesis that, before Columbine, police were trained to set up a perimeter and wait for SWAT when encountering an active shooter. The attacks linked as UNABOM were certainly interstate, i. e. federal, crimes but what reminded me of this was how, as you mentioned, they seem to be willing to continue to deploy all of this manpower again and again, year after year, when all they ever come up with is some lone disturbed geek with a closet full of ammo being responsible for it. (Cops: "Can we get some help?" Feds: "Nah, it always turns out to be just one guy.") It also applies to many other manipulated events. --Friends may notice abrupt changes in mood in the days and weeks before the shooting. He may have complained that lately he has experienced strange and vivid dreams of a violent nature. --He will be dressed in all black and/or camoflage, oftentimes with a black trenchcoat. --Eyewitnesses at the scene will note strange emotional switches during the shooting. Some will say he looked angry, others will say he looked anxious, confused, or 'like a robot.' --The media will paint him as a loner, but he will in fact have a circle of friends or be part of a clique. --Extra ammo/guns/bombs will be found at his home and in his auto(this to 'close the circle' of guilt in the public's mind). The guns will have been legally acquired by the shooter or a close relative/neighbor. He will have brought an excessive quantity of ammunition to the scene. (This is so that, if he has 200 rounds of ammo, people will think "Wow, he must have wanted to kill 200 people. What a nut!") --Literature and/or videos about Adolph Hitler, Charles Manson(infamous American cult leader), or the Columbine killers will be found amongst his possessions. --He will be computer-savvy, and likely left an online presence. He may have left some kind of manifesto, though it will be incomprehensible/nonsensical for the most part. He will have hinted at what he had planned, but the name of the target itself will not be mentioned. A complete record of what he communicated, and with who, on his computer will NOT be released. --He will probably have been a player of violent video games, and will have been a fan of violence-themed movies. He will have produced his own videos in which he is seen with his weapons or expressing his hatred and/or violence. --He will have a strong interest in weapons--guns, knives, swords, bombs--or the military. --He will have had contact with a military recruiter or he will have spent some time in the military before being separated under murky circumstances. --There is a good chance he will have been active in "Live Action Role Playing"(LARP) games. Or he will have been a player in "Airsoft"/paintball games. --He will have been mentally "treated" at some point by a counselor, psychologist, or a psychiatrist. And this shrink will likely remain unidentified and will NEVER be interviewed, even though he is perhaps best positioned to tell us what the motive is. The shooter may also may have taken "anger management" sessions. --He will have a history of taking SSRIs(selective seritonin reuptake inhibitors), often in combination with Ritalin(methylphenidate). --There is some likelihood that he was institutionalized or hospitalized at some point before the attack. At any rate there will gaps in the timeline where police cannot account for his whereabouts. --He probably had some contact with the police/law enforcement before the shooting. --He might have been involved with Satanism or other strange occultic-type religions. --If he survived the assault, he will be unable to explain why he did what he did. He may claim that 'voices' in his head told him to do it. Or he may not even remember the act at all. But whether the shooter lives or dies, motive will always remain a mystery. --He will NOT have acted alone. The covert operators apparently like an early start time so the event will dominate the day's headlines and news broadcasts. The thinking being is that audience/media attention tends to waver the next day, as other more current events start to crowd the headlines. Though a young shooter could also target other school activities where kids gather later on.
